Performer turned videographer turned photographer. I've spent the last several years performing stunt work at festivals and for films. Working with local films led to an interest in video production which in turn has led to an interest in still photography. Each medium has its unique qualities and necessary skills and each is also an art form.

Creating art in some form or another is why I pursue photography and try to develop my skills and experience. Each different shoot presents its own challenges to creating something interesting. Still photography especially requires that a sequence of events be distilled down to the singular image that tells the story.

When not parked behind the camera I can be found performing stage combat and stunt work in front of it, or quoting (badly) shakespearean verse on a ren-faire stage near you. I also play guitar and have a local band called Reality Drift.

And yes, I am a pirate! Yarrr!
